Supporting Our Local Student Athletes

We’re proud to announce our partnership with Pikes Peak Christian School, located near our practice, as an Athletic Sponsor! Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital has been serving the Colorado Springs community for nearly 30 years, and we’re excited to support young community members in their athletic pursuits through this new initiative.

We believe that active, healthy lifestyles often lead to active, healthy pets. That’s why we encourage pet owners to bring their furry companions in for a physical exam—so we can help ensure they’re feeling their best and living happy, healthy lives.

National Mill Dog Rescue (NMDR)

In spring 2026, Dr. McIntosh and Kristen had the pleasure of visiting National Mill Dog Rescue (NMDR) and learning more about their incredible facility and programs! NMDR is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming discarded breeding dogs while educating the public about the realities of commercial dog breeding. Many of our patients are NMDR rescues, and we’re honored to support their lifelong health and wellness. We’re also excited that members of our team and their families will be participating in NMDR’s Rescue Readers Program this October, spending time reading to rescue dogs and showing them some extra love!

Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region

We’re proud to partner with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) and support their incredible work in our community! Founded in 1949, HSPPR is dedicated to providing compassionate care to animals, supporting safe communities, and helping pets in need find loving homes. As an open-admission shelter, HSPPR provides a safe place for animals in need, offering compassionate care, helping lost pets return home, and giving homeless animals a second chance at finding loving families.
