Why Your Pet Deserves an AAHA-Accredited Hospital

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is an international association, and the only organization, that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada. To be accredited by AAHA, a hospital must demonstrate an exceptional level of veterinary medical care and client service. AAHA-accredited hospitals voluntarily choose to be regularly evaluated on-site, on over 900 standards that directly correlate to the care that is provided to patients. AAHA standards are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure they remain current with changes in veterinary medicine and technology. These standards cover every aspect of a hospital to assure your satisfaction with the level of care and service you and your pet receive. In fact, only 14% of all veterinary hospitals in the United States achieve AAHA accreditation.

The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are widely used as benchmarks to measure excellence in veterinary medicine. Accreditation helps veterinary hospitals stay on the leading edge of veterinary medicine and provide the quality and range of services companion animals deserve.

By becoming accredited, Polo Springs Veterinary Hospital has been measured against the most rigorous published standards in the industry. Polo Springs is one of only 3,000 veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada that are AAHA-accredited and has therefore made a commitment to meeting the highest standards of veterinary care.
